This week my grandmother passed away at the age of 104. Yes, 104! She said her thank you’s, gave some final words of wisdom, said her final good byes, listened to her final prayers and closed her eyes in peace, never to open them again. Her passing reminded me of the following quote: “When we are born, we cry while the world is rejoicing. If we live our lives with meaning and in service, then when we die, the world will cry while we are rejoicing”. May her soul rest in eternal peace!
